Description

Manage security incidents, investigate threats, and implement mitigation solutions using Microsoft security platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and respond to real-time security events using Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, and Azure Security Center.
• Conduct detailed investigations by correlating data from network logs, endpoint detection systems, and cloud security platforms.
• Triage and escalate critical security incidents to senior team members or management.
• Collaborate with IT and network teams to mitigate threats and implement system-wide security improvements.
• Perform root cause analysis, vulnerability management, and regular security assessments.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a SOC environment, specifically at the L2 level.
• Proven expertise with Microsoft Sentinel and Azure Sentinel.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Identity, and Office 365.
• Proficiency using Azure Security Center.
• Strong experience in incident detection, triage, and response using SIEM systems.
• Practical knowledge of threat hunting, remediation techniques, and security incident analysis.
• Deep understanding of network protocols, system vulnerabilities, and attack vectors.
• Experience managing security events within Azure and Office 365 environments.
