Description

You will design, develop, and maintain complex multi-tiered transactional systems and component-based architectures.

Responsibilities

• Write technical design specification documents for multifaceted component-based systems.
• Perform performance tuning for applications interacting with databases.
• Manage XML schemas including definition, querying, and automated generation.
• Provide technical design, development, maintenance, and end-user support.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience with J2EE technologies including EJBs, JDBC, JSP, and XML.
• 7+ years of Java programming within IBM Rational Application Developer (RAD).
• 7+ years of experience deploying to WebSphere Application Server (WAS).
• 7+ years of experience with IBM DB2 databases and XML schemas.
• 7+ years of system analysis and design for multi-tiered transactional systems.
• 5+ years of experience with IBM MQSeries.
• 5+ years of experience in application and database performance tuning.
• 3+ years of experience working within a government organization.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.
