Description

You will design, develop, and support software applications for web, mobile, and wireless devices. You will analyze requirements, implement components, and manage the build and deployment process.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system requirements and client business processes to determine project feasibility.
• Design and implement new software components, dynamic web pages, and technical specifications.
• Develop, test, and troubleshoot applications using algorithms, database, and networking concepts.
• Manage the build and deployment process by writing Maven build files.
• Ensure system security and identify product improvements.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in C, C++, C#, Java, Python, or PHP.
• Experience with Android development and mobile/remote computing.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and SOAP Web Services.
• Database management using SQL, MySQL, or SQLite.
• Experience with PowerShell and Maven build tools.
• Understanding of wireless networks, mobile computing, and internet programming.
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented analysis and design.
• Familiarity with RedHat, Unix, Linux Kernel, and Windows operating systems.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Master or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology.
• Post-secondary coursework in wireless networks, database systems, data structures, and operating systems.
