Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex software systems using established methodologies.
• Implement new systems and correct software errors within existing environments.
• Consult with customers and project managers to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Manage computer systems in a business environment and resolve technical issues independently.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in COBOL and DB2.
• Hands-on experience with CICS, MQ, and FileAid.
• Proficiency in XML and data structures.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and computer systems.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and exercise independent judgment.
• Superior written and oral communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java, JSON, AWS, and Cassandra.
• Knowledge of HTTP, RPA, Pega, and Splunk for reporting.
