Description

You will design, build, and maintain employee-facing websites and business applications to support city department operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications, interfaces, and related web or mobile platforms.
• Manage application lifecycles including upgrades, patch maintenance, and system migrations.
• Gather business requirements and document technical specifications for applications, reports, and interfaces.
• Provide production support by troubleshooting issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing changes.
• Coordinate with network, hosting, and workplace services teams to deliver technical services.

Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience developing, upgrading, and maintaining web-based or mobile applications.
• Proven experience as an application developer using C#, .NET, Java, or other object-oriented languages.
• Experience building and designing websites using Microsoft SharePoint, including content management workflows.
• Hands-on programming experience with SQL, PL/SQL, or equivalent languages.
• Working knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle or MS SQL Server.
• Experience maintaining reports using third-party reporting or Business Intelligence tools.
• Ability to provide off-hours support for production-related business application incidents.
• Strong technical writing, documentation, and user training skills.
• Ability to undergo the Anaheim Police Department clearance process.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting third-party applications such as Accela Permitting System or CGI Advantage ERP.
