Description

Maintain and enhance city business applications through upgrades, patches, and new development.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain departmental applications via regular upgrades and patch maintenance.
• Develop and maintain applications and interfaces for departmental initiatives.
• Gather business requirements and document technical specifications for reports and interfaces.
• Provide production support by troubleshooting issues, implementing changes, and performing root cause analysis.
• Implement processes for application migration, testing, and support maintenance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years developing, upgrading, and maintaining web-based or mobile applications.
• 5+ years as an application developer using C#, .NET, Java, or other object-oriented languages.
• 2+ years hands-on programming experience with SQL or PL/SQL.
• 2+ years hands-on experience with Accela Permitting and Land Management Application.
• 2+ years maintaining Microsoft SharePoint sites using components, templates, and workflows.
• Hands-on experience with PowerBI, Tableau, Crystal Reports, or Business Objects.
• Ability to support 24x7 operations and work onsite during business hours.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
