Description

Design and oversee software architecture across IBM mainframe and distributed environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design software solutions using IBM Mainframe COBOL and DB2 for z/OS.
  • Develop Java applications within IBM environments using Rational Application Developer (RAD).
  • Manage and deploy applications via Websphere Application Server (WAS).
  • Ensure architectural alignment across mainframe and Java-based systems.

Required Skills

  • 7 years of IBM Mainframe COBOL programming experience.
  • 7 years of IBM DB2 for z/OS experience.
  • 5 years of Java programming experience in an IBM environment.
  • Experience using IBM Rational Application Developer (RAD).
  • Experience using Websphere Application Server (WAS).
  • Any graduate degree.
  • Must be local to Albany, NY.
