Responsibilities

• Make high-level design choices and dictate technical standards, including coding standards, tools, and platforms.
• Design multi-leveled architecture and component interactions for complex systems.
• Provide guidance to large teams and ensure technical excellence across development lifecycles.
• Support technical design, development, maintenance, and end-user support for government-complex systems.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience with J2EE technologies, including EJB, JDBC, JSP, and XML.
• 7+ years of Java programming experience in IBM development environments using IDEs like Eclipse, RAD, NetBeans, or IntelliJ.
• 7+ years of experience with IBM DB2 databases.
• 5+ years of experience with J2EE frameworks (Spring, Struts) and application servers (Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere, WebLogic).
• 3+ years of experience with government organizations, involving business knowledge and complex system support.
• 5+ years of experience with messaging technologies such as IBM MQSeries, JMS, or Kafka.

Preferred Skills

• Deep expertise in IBM ecosystem tools and legacy J2EE migration patterns.
