You will define technical standards and lead high-level design for large-scale, multi-tiered transactional systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design multi-level architecture and component interactions for enterprise software systems.
• Dictate technical standards including coding guidelines, tools, and platforms.
• Perform system analysis and design for complex, multi-tiered environments.
• Tune application performance, specifically focusing on database interactions.
• Provide technical guidance to large teams based on extensive industry experience.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in software architecture and system design.
• 84+ months of experience with J2EE technologies including JDBC, JSP, and XML.
• 84+ months of experience developing, building, and testing Java EE applications using Eclipse, NetBeans, or IntelliJ.
• 84+ months of experience with J2EE frameworks such as Spring or Struts.
• 84+ months of experience with Application Servers including Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere, or WebLogic.
• 84+ months of experience writing SQL statements for relational databases.
• 60+ months of experience in performance tuning applications interacting with databases.
• 60+ months of experience with messaging technologies such as MQ, JMS, or Kafka.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.
