Description

You will design multi-tiered transactional systems and lead technical efforts for large teams in a government environment. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and document technical specifications for component-based systems.
• Lead development, testing, and maintenance of complex Java EE applications.
• Perform application performance tuning for database-driven processes.
• Manage messaging workflows using MQ, JMS, or Kafka.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience with J2EE technologies including EJB, JDBC, JSP, and XML.
• 7+ years building Java EE applications using Eclipse, NetBeans, or IntelliJ.
• 7+ years of experience with IBM DB2 and XML schemas (definition, querying, and automated generation).
• 7+ years in system analysis and design for multi-tiered transactional systems.
• 5+ years of experience in performance tuning applications interacting with databases.
• 5+ years of experience with messaging technologies such as MQ, JMS, or Kafka.
• 4+ years of experience working within a government organization.

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years in technical design, development, and maintenance of complex systems.
