Description

You will serve as the technical lead, owning technical deliverables and solutions across the entire project lifecycle for Wholesale Electricity Market Management (MMS) applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Execute software solutions and lead technical implementation efforts.
• Identify technical requirements and estimate effort by collaborating with customers.
• Influence design and functionality decisions to meet budget, time, and expectation targets.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot problems in MMS environments.
• Mentor teams on complex, integrated customer implementations.

Required Skills

• 10-15 years of professional experience in a Market Management System (MMS) technical lead role.
• Minimum 10 years of experience working with or for an Independent System Operator (ISO), Market Participant, or wholesale markets vendor.
• Expert knowledge of Market Management Systems, including Unit Commitment and Economic Dispatch.
• Hands-on experience analyzing, troubleshooting, and fixing problems in MMS environments.
• Proven ability to deploy applications in on-premise and cloud-based environments.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps, GitOps, CI/CD, and source control management.
• Proficiency with Git and MAV.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
