Roles & Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the elaboration of software specifications and architecture in collaboration with software architects and technical teams
• Perform software module development including detailed design, coding, and preparation and execution of module tests and verifications
• Design and implement scalable, reliable, and maintainable embedded software solutions aligned with product requirements
• Set up and maintain the software development toolchain and ensure deliverables are managed under configuration management processes
• Support software/software and hardware/software integration and sustainment activities in collaboration with hardware designers and cross-functional teams
• Evaluate software architecture and propose architectural improvements or design changes based on functional and technical requirements
• Ensure adherence to software engineering standards, coding guidelines, and development best practices
• Contribute to troubleshooting, debugging, performance optimization, and issue resolution across embedded software components
• Keep informed of technology evolution through technical research and contribute to standardization through reusable frameworks and solutions
• Apply organizational processes and standards while driving continuous improvement and Return on Experience (RoE) initiatives
• Collaborate with software, hardware, RAMS, and V&V teams throughout the software development lifecycle
• Support documentation activities including architecture specifications, design documents, verification reports, and technical guidelines

Experience Required:

• 12 - 16 years of experience in embedded product software development and software architecture environments
• Strong expertise in C++, Linux, Python, and embedded software development methodologies
• Experience evaluating software architecture and proposing scalable architectural improvements based on system requirements
• Hands-on experience in software module design, coding, testing, verification, and integration activities
• Good understanding of networking concepts, embedded systems, and hardware/software integration processes
• Experience with software development toolchains, configuration management, and version control practices
• Strong analytical, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams including software, hardware, RAMS, and V&V teams
• Familiarity with software quality standards, continuous improvement practices, and reusable software frameworks is preferred
• Strong communication, technical leadership, and documentation skills
