You will design and maintain enterprise-grade software architectures, ensuring scalability, reliability, and integration across complex systems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement solutions using IBM WebSphere Portal, FileNet, and SOA principles.
• Develop robust backend services using Java, JEE, EJB 3+, and JAX-WS Web Services.
• Design data persistence and search layers with SQL and Elastic Search.
• Integrate messaging systems using MQ Series/JMS and manage asynchronous workflows.
• Oversee build and version control processes using Maven and Subversion (SVN).

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in software architecture or senior development roles.
• Deep expertise in Java, JEE, and EJB 3+.
• Hands-on experience with IBM WebSphere Portal 6+ and FileNet.
• Proficiency in Elastic Search and SQL database design.
• Strong knowledge of SOA, JAX-WS Web Services, and DataPower.
• Experience with MQ Series/JMS for messaging integration.
• Familiarity with Java Server Faces (JSF) and XSLT.
• Competence with RAD, Maven, and Subversion (SVN).

Preferred Skills

• Work authorization: GC or USC preferred.
