Description

You will lead the architectural design and evolution of software for clinical diagnostic instruments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee software architectures for new and existing products to ensure stability and scalability.
• Lead architectural planning and implementation while collaborating with project managers on timelines and risk mitigation.
• Integrate instrument hardware and software to ensure seamless product performance.
• Reverse-engineer undocumented or poorly documented legacy systems to support ongoing maintenance and development.
• Troubleshoot complex issues through root cause analysis and provide clear written documentation of findings.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software architecture roles.
• Proficiency in C#, C++, and SQL.
• Experience with UI development and business logic implementation.
• Hands-on experience with instrument control and hardware/software integration.
• Strong ability to reverse-engineer legacy codebases.
• Deep understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Scrum methodologies.
• Proven experience conducting code reviews and bug fixing in regulated or corporate environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Delphi.
• Background in regulated industries such as medical devices or pharmaceuticals.
