Description

You will lead IBM Cognos technical administration and architecture within a multi-tiered environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure IBM Cognos 11 BI across Web, App, and LDAP Windows servers, and IBM Cognos BI Transformer on Unix.
• Maintain Cognos BI architecture, including troubleshooting, problem resolution, and server/portal/LDAP scripting.
• Design and implement metadata and reporting components, ensuring data integrity and adherence to architectural strategies.
• Develop and support Reporting Web Services using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles.
• Create data cube models using IBM Cognos BI Transformer and Framework Manager.

Required Skills

• 84+ months of experience in IBM Cognos administration, installation, server configuration, and BI solution design.
• 84+ months of experience with IBM Cognos Transformer 8.3 or higher for data cube modeling.
• 84+ months of experience implementing application security using Active Directory, LDAP, and SiteMinder.
• 84+ months of experience with web services, including Java scripting, SQL, Unix Scripting, and coding in .NET, Java, or JavaScript.
• 72+ months of experience designing and maintaining report solutions using IBM Cognos BI 10 or higher.
• 72+ months of experience using IBM Cognos Framework Manager 10 or higher for modeling reporting packages.
• 36+ months of experience with Motio Persona installation, MotioCI deployments, regression testing, and versioning.
• 36+ months of experience with Cognos 10 or higher managing continuous quarterly upgrades and migrations from 10.2 to 11.x.
• IBM Cognos BI 8 or higher Certification.
