Description

Lead enterprise architecture and software development for government taxation systems. Manage teams of 25+ people to deliver complex IT projects.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage teams of 25+ people overseeing complex IT projects and ensuring successful delivery.
• Direct the system development life cycle, IT service provisioning, and application infrastructure.
• Lead enterprise-wide system implementations with a focus on application architecture.
• Coordinate technology and common service teams for significant state or government financial projects.
• Oversee continuity of operations programs and disaster recovery plans in large-scale operational environments.

Required Skills

• 84 months of experience as an enterprise architect or equivalent.
• 84 months of experience in leadership roles managing teams of 25+ people.
• 84 months of software development experience in Java, .NET, or Cobol.
• 84 months of experience with IBM software including WebSphere Application Server (WAS), COBOL, IBM DB2, IBM MQSeries, JCL, and IBM DataStage.
• 84 months of experience in project coordination for government financial organizations.
• 84 months of experience with technical design, development, and maintenance of complex Tax Return processing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading large-scale operational environments in the public sector.
