Description

You will design and oversee software architectures for new and existing products to ensure stability and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural planning and implementation while collaborating with project managers on timelines and risk mitigation.
• Serve as the primary technical expert for architectural decisions and complex troubleshooting.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers in architectural design and reverse-engineering techniques.
• Integrate instrument hardware and software through cross-functional collaboration.
• Reverse-engineer undocumented or poorly documented legacy systems to support ongoing maintenance and development.
• Document root cause analyses and technical resolutions clearly in written reports.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Architect.
• Expertise in C#, C++, and Delphi.
• Strong background in software design, architecture, and implementation.
• Proficiency with SQL and database systems.
• Experience reverse-engineering legacy codebases.
• Ability to work across different layers, including UI, business logic, database, and instrument control.
• Experience working within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Scrum methodologies.
• Proven ability to integrate software with hardware or scientific/medical instruments.
• Strong written communication skills for technical reporting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in regulated industries such as medical devices or pharmaceuticals.
• Background in instrument control systems or embedded software.
