Description

You will design, develop, and manage complex software applications and interface modules throughout their lifecycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and support of complex applications across all lifecycle phases.
• Build interface modules and user guideline documentation to support standard operations.
• Facilitate employee data migrations and testing with State of SC HR personnel and SCEIS system staff.
• Lead, train, and develop internal processes to ensure interface success.
• Perform research and analysis for project proposals, system modifications, and new projects.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle.
• Expertise in writing, testing, and documenting complex computer programs.
• Proven ability to design, develop, and maintain installed systems.
• Strong skills in database design.
• Experience in application troubleshooting.
• Comprehensive documentation and testing capabilities.
• Ability to perform technical research and feasibility assessments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience translating functional requirements into technical design and development projects.
• Ability to create and support web-based applications using object-oriented programming languages.
• Effective oral and written communication skills for users with varying technical expertise.
