Description

Lead the architectural design and implementation of high-performance automotive embedded software products.

Responsibilities

• Design software architectures that align with standards to ensure portability and efficient reuse.
• Provide technical direction to engineering teams, offering solutions that align with strategic initiatives.
• Lead software/hardware integration, supporting board bring-up and hardware configuration-based software.
• Manage architecture methodology to ensure compliance with standards and prevent scope creep.
• Engage with customers and engineering teams to influence technology direction through software architecture.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with a track record in automotive embedded software.
• 5+ years of experience in software architecture or design, specifically for audio architecture control units.
• 5+ years of active coding experience in C/C++.
• Experience with Android, Linux, QNX, and AUTOSAR (Classic and Adaptive).
• Knowledge of Linux kernel, RTOS, System on Chip, microcontrollers, and bare metal systems.
• Experience with DaVinci RTE configuration and integrating 3rd party stacks.
• Understanding of ASPICE and V-cycle software development processes.
• Proficiency in English and Japanese.
• B.S. in Software, Computer, or Systems Engineering or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• M.S. degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Experience with signal processing and the Audio Domain.
• Understanding of ARM and DSP processors.
