Description

You will architect and implement critical virtualization features within Kubernetes-native storage offerings, focusing on performance, resilience, and scalability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Drive the design and implementation of VM lifecycle management and performance optimizations within KubeVirt, libvirt, and QEMU ecosystems.
• Define technical roadmaps and lead complex engineering projects integrating storage capabilities with cloud-native virtualization.
• Mentor the engineering team on advanced virtualization architecture, distributed systems practices, and debugging.
• Resolve complex, cross-functional virtualization and storage challenges across large-scale Kubernetes clusters.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience designing and developing production-grade distributed systems software in Go, C++, or Java.
• Deep expertise in core virtualization technologies: KubeVirt, Libvirt, and QEMU.
• Expert understanding of Kubernetes internals, including implementing custom controllers and CRDs.
• Mastery of distributed systems concepts, software design patterns, and performance analysis for HA solutions.
• Proven history of contributions to open-source projects in the virtualization or Kubernetes ecosystem.
