Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic engineering guidance to the engineering team.
• Execute hands-on software design and manage integration across software, hardware, and IT infrastructure.
• Optimize system security standards and communication protocols.
• Develop system software for big data processing, transfer, storage, and bioinformatics.
• Mentor team members on best practices in architecture and integration.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of software engineering experience.
• Substantial experience in software design and architecture.
• Proven expertise in C, Python, and C++.
• Extensive experience with software and hardware integration.
• Deep understanding of security and communication protocols.
• Background in developing system software for big data workloads.
• Proficiency in Linux environments.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate education.
