Description

You will lead the architectural design and technical direction of high-performance automotive embedded software products.

Responsibilities

• Architect embedded software products, specifically focusing on audio architecture control units.
• Provide technical direction and solutions to engineering teams to align with strategic initiatives.
• Design software systems to ensure compliance with standards, portability, and efficient reuse.
• Manage software/hardware integration, supporting board bring-up and hardware configuration-based software.
• Engage with customers and engineering teams to influence technology direction through software architecture.
• Monitor implementation to reduce architectural scope creep and ensure requirements are met.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on automotive embedded products.
• 5+ years of experience in software architecture or design roles.
• 5+ years of active coding experience in C and C++.
• Expertise in Embedded Software development and Linux kernel.
• Experience with operating systems including Android, Linux, QNX, and AUTOSAR.
• Proficiency with Classic and Adaptive AUTOSAR, including DaVinci RTE configuration.
• Experience with Real-time operating systems (RTOS), System on Chip (SoC), and microcontrollers.
• Knowledge of ASPICE and V-cycle software development processes.
• Experience with bare metal, simple scheduler-based systems, and Linux shell.
• JLPT N3 or equivalent Japanese language proficiency.

Preferred Skills

• M.S. in Software, Computer, or Systems Engineering.
• Background in signal processing or the Audio Domain.
• Understanding of ARM and DSP processors.
