Description

You will design and develop scalable backend systems and service architectures for an Agentic platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain versioned APIs with strong backward compatibility for internal and external integrations.
• Deliver scalable microservices and asynchronous systems designed for high throughput and real-time streaming.
• Set engineering standards for API design, testing, documentation, and CI/CD automation.
• Provide HLD/LLD artifacts and conduct peer reviews to ensure clean architecture adoption.
• Mentor engineers and align backend strategies with product vision.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software development.
• Expertise in backend development using Python (FastAPI) and/or TypeScript (Node.js).
• Proven experience defining API contracts using OpenAPI, Swagger, gRPC, and Postman.
• Deep understanding of microservices and event-driven design using Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Mastery of asynchronous programming, multiprocessing, and real-time streaming via WebSockets or Kafka streams.
• Practical experience with cloud-native development on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Proficiency with Docker, Git, and container orchestration workflows.
• Strong command of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and automated testing (TDD/BDD).

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to LLM orchestration (LangChain, LlamaIndex), RAG architectures, and vector DBs.
• Experience with clinical/life sciences integration, including FHIR or healthcare data privacy standards.
