Description

Lead technical direction and architectural design for large-scale banking and payments systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and modify software enhancements for networked and internet-related programs.
• Define system requirements and technical specifications by interacting with product managers and users.
• Lead technical direction and provide leadership to technical leads and other architects across multiple large projects.
• Perform acquisition due diligence and recommend best practices to solve complex business and technology issues.
• Write code, perform testing, and complete documentation for application installation and maintenance.

Required Skills

• 16+ years of systems development experience, including 8+ years as an Engineer or Systems Specialist.
• Expertise in JAVA/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, and EJB.
• Proficiency with Oracle, REST APIs, Docker, Maven, and Git.
• Deep knowledge of NACHA and ACH within the banking and payments domain.
• Experience with Batch and Back office processing.
• In-depth understanding of design patterns, sequence diagrams, and class models.
• Strong proficiency in solutions design using model-driven design tools and business process modeling.
• Experience managing end-to-end SDLC using waterfall or iterative methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Enterprise Payments and Open Payments Frameworks.
• Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO, CMM, or Six Sigma.
