Description

Lead architectural design and technical direction for scalable, microservices-based applications.

You will own end-to-end system designs, including database management, caching, and messaging.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design microservices using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud for scalability.
• Lead application containerization with Docker and Kubernetes for smooth deployments.
• Mentor development teams on coding best practices, performance, and code quality.
• Collaborate with DevOps to streamline CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate secure service communication using Spring Security and OAuth2.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer or Architect.
• Mastery of Java and Groovy with Spring frameworks (Boot, Cloud, Security).
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and NoSQL systems (MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Deep knowledge of security standards, OAuth2, and API gateway management.
• Expertise in building RESTful APIs, JSON, and gRPC.
• Proven leadership experience mentoring engineering teams within agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
• Experience with service meshes such as Istio or Linkerd.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
