You manage software assets for Gwinnett County, ensuring compliance with vendor contracts and optimizing software spending.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Plan, monitor, and record software license assets through their entire lifecycle.
• Assist in procurement strategies to optimize software spending and maintain vendor contracts.
• Develop and recommend improvements for software tracking procedures and quality control.
• Conduct regular software asset reconciliation, audits, and generate financial and licensing reports.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in asset records to ensure data accuracy.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Software Asset Management.
• Experience maintaining records of software licenses, maintenance agreements, and vendor contracts.
• Proficiency in asset management systems such as Remedyforce.
• Ability to investigate and analyze software usage and spending trends.
• Experience in performing software inventories and monitoring usage.
• Familiarity with comparing industry best practices against organizational procedures.
• Ability to research and document financial transactions for proof of purchase.
