Description

You will manage software license compliance, utilization, and data accuracy within the configuration management system.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Compare licensed software information against installed software to identify and resolve variances.
• Perform regular housekeeping of software data in the CMDB to maintain accuracy.
• Identify opportunities to utilize unused or partially used IT software assets.
• Create reports and metrics regarding software licenses, compliance, and cost savings.
• Verify and update new software purchases and link maintenance to base licenses in the AM tool.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of experience in Software Asset Management.
• Expertise with Snow and ServiceNow tools.
• Deep knowledge of licensing and usage rights for Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, and Adobe.
• Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and CMDB processes.
• Ability to perform complex data analysis and mining.
• Experience in client management and interfacing with IT Service Management processes.
• Proven ability to conduct gap analysis and service analysis.
