Description

You will own the management and optimization of the organization's software assets.

Responsibilities

  • Lead preparation and defense for external vendor audits (Microsoft, Adobe, SAP) to mitigate financial and legal exposure.
  • Identify underutilized licenses and implement optimization processes; recommend contract renewals and right-sizing subscriptions (SaaS/Cloud).
  • Maintain the "Single Source of Truth" for software assets within the Americas Zone.
  • Produce monthly KPIs for senior IT leadership covering coverage, compliance status, spend analysis, and optimization progress.

Required Skills

  • 3-5 years of dedicated experience in Software Asset Management within a large, multinational corporate environment.
  • Deep understanding of licensing models: SaaS (Microsoft 365, Adobe Creative Cloud, Salesforce), Cloud/Infra (Azure, AWS BYOL), and On-Premise (per-core, per-user, device-based).
  • Expert-level Excel skills: VLOOKUPs, Index/Match, Pivot Tables, Power Query for normalizing large datasets.
  • Experience configuring discovery patterns, managing entitlements, and running reconciliation engines within ServiceNow.
  • Familiarity with key AMER vendors and reviewing software contract terms and conditions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Finance, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft, Adobe, SAP, Azure, AWS, and ServiceNow.

Preferred Skills

  • CSAM (Certified Software Asset Manager) or similar IAITAM recognized certifications.
  • Advanced proficiency in ServiceNow SAM Pro.
