Description

You will manage and upgrade source code repositories and automate deployment processes for NC FAST and Child Welfare applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage and upgrade Bitbucket, GIT, and SVN source code repositories.
• Automate branch and merge processes by preparing and executing automation scripts.
• Create and maintain Ansible playbooks for build and deployment tasks.
• Support Linux administration efforts for AWS EC2 instances.
• Troubleshoot issues related to branching, merging, and code repository maintenance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with AIX, RHEL, and Windows Server 2008.
• 5+ years of experience with J2EE application hosting, including VM tuning, application tracing, debugging, and deployment.
• 5+ years of experience with J2EE build/deployment tools such as Ant, Maven, or Ivy.
• 3+ years of experience with automation technologies including Ansible, UNIX shell scripting, Perl, or Python.
• 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency in Bitbucket/Git configurations, branching, and merging.
• Experience administering J2EE applications in WebSphere Application Server 8/9, Apache Tomcat, and JBoss.

Preferred Skills

• 2 years of experience with full CI/CD pipeline understanding.
