Description

Manage build and deployment processes for portfolio applications across development, test, and production environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute build scripts while troubleshooting build-related issues for portfolio applications.
• Manage web layer configurations across AIX, Redhat Linux/CentOS, and Windows operating systems.
• Configure IBM WebSphere with clustering, IBM Client Web servers, and Oracle Database environments.
• Collaborate with Engineers, Operations, and Database Administrators to maintain environment functionality and performance.
• Provide technical consultation to developers regarding branching, merging, and environment maintenance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in build and release administration.
• Administer J2EE applications in WebSphere Application Server 8/9, Apache Tomcat, and Jboss.
• Proficiency with AIX, RHEL, and Windows Server 2008.
• Hands-on experience with J2EE application building tools such as Ant, Maven, and Ivy.
• Strong automation skills using Ansible, UNIX shell scripting, Perl, or Python.
• Knowledge of container resource configuration including JDBC and JMS.
• Experience with Bitbucket/Git configurations, branching, and merging.
• Understanding of network security concepts including SSL/TLS, LDAP, and authentication/authorization protocols.
• Ability to perform hardware spec evaluation and platform sizing for enterprise hosting.
