Description

You will own the design and delivery of complex database solutions, providing technical leadership across the software portfolio. You are responsible for mentoring engineering teams, evaluating technical alternatives, and driving planning for small-scale software initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop custom solutions using Python, Synapse, and Kusto to meet business requirements.
• Lead technical planning for small software portfolios, including managing vendor evaluations and justifying technical recommendations.
• Mentor junior engineers on software design, development frameworks, and best practices.
• Build and optimize data pipelines using Databricks and SQL, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Analyze technical options and present clear, actionable recommendations to leads and clients.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of overall experience in software engineering or database technologies.
• Minimum 8-10 years of hands-on experience with Python.
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience with Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience with Kusto (KQL).
• Strong proficiency in SQL and understanding of SQL performance indicators.
• Experience building and managing data pipelines, preferably with Databricks.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.

Preferred Skills

• MBA or other advanced degree in a related field.
• Experience driving technical solutions for broader technology delivery and cross-functional teams.
