Description

You will ensure product quality by verifying designs and implementation against specifications throughout the software lifecycle.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of design for Embedded Systems and cloud solutions quality, including scanning, computer vision, and mobile devices.
• Provide quality deliverables during development and release processes at each phase while working within a product development team.
• Advise SW design engineering on best practices for testing embedded and cloud systems.
• Escalate and manage SW quality issues to keep the program on track to meet release objectives.
• Analyze quality metrics, determine root causes for defects, and assess defect risk, informing prioritization decisions.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Software Engineering and Computer Science for embedded/mobile fields.
• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field (Software Engineering, Computer Science).
• Advanced knowledge and problem-solving ability in wireless technologies.
• Software QA automation experience using Java or Python.
• Knowledge of productivity tools including Jira, Confluence, and PowerBI.
• Experience in SW design, development, testing, and release management.
• Strong knowledge of the cause-and-effect relationship between SW defects and customer impact.
• Experience with Software Solutions as a Service processes and automation tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Android and Linux environments.
