Description

You will execute comprehensive WiFi test plans and debug complex wireless issues to validate functionality and private fixes.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive WiFi test plans to validate platform functionality and reliability.
• Investigate and debug WiFi issues to narrow down problem scope and isolate root causes.
• Validate private fixes for identified issues and verify resolution against test criteria.
• Identify specific characteristics of failures during test passes and define targeted test plans.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in testing or development of WiFi platforms.
• Knowledge of WiFi protocols at the application or network level.
• Proficiency with RF debugging tools such as Wireshark, Wildpackets OmniPeek, or Ethereal.
• Hands-on experience with C# and PowerShell scripting for automation and analysis.
• Experience with RF technologies and ability to isolate issues in complex scenarios.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with embedded device development, Windows Driver development, or kernel debugging.
• Familiarity with MS tools like Product Studio or WT, and trace analysis (xPerf, .etl, ETW).
• Experience with RF hardware including attenuators, antennas, RF enclosures, or oscilloscope usage.
