Description

Design, implement, test, and ship Windows and Linux client/OS components for monitoring, diagnostics, and reliability. You translate customer and partner requirements into technical designs, prototypes, and production-ready solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build high-availability, high-performance, and secure components with robust telemetry, logging, alerting, and safe rollout strategies.
• Develop and maintain Linux-based components to monitor and diagnose service health and infrastructure.
• Drive engineering best practices including code reviews, CI/CD, and automated testing to ensure quality and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot, perform root-cause analysis, and implement durable fixes for production issues.
• Manage secrets and fix code vulnerabilities to uphold security standards.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience designing, implementing, and testing software components.
• Strong proficiency in Windows and Linux environments.
• Deep understanding of security practices, including vulnerability remediation and secrets management.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and standard engineering lifecycle practices.
• Expertise in troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and implementing durable fixes.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and adapt to project requirements.
