You will own the complete software development lifecycle from conception to production, driving performance improvements and technical roadmap execution.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain solutions across a TypeScript codebase including React UI, serverless APIs, AWS CDK infrastructure, and generative AI integrations.
• Drive performance improvements by reducing API latency, optimizing Lambda cold starts, tuning DynamoDB access patterns, and improving client-side rendering.
• Operate a multi-region AWS service, handling on-call rotation, ticket triage, incident response, and security engagements such as threat-model reviews.
• Lead the technical roadmap for upcoming releases, including deeper personalization, AI-assisted workflows, and internal data system integrations.
• Mentor junior team members and influence technical direction beyond your immediate team through code reviews, automated testing, and secure-by-default design.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with at least one modern language: TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, Python, Go, or C#.
• 3+ years of experience designing or architecting systems with a focus on patterns, reliability, and scaling.
• Experience building production services on a major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript across both client and server runtimes.
• Production experience with AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFront, and AWS IAM.
• Hands-on experience writing infrastructure as code with AWS CDK, Terraform, or AWS CloudFormation.
• Experience building modern React applications with a current build toolchain such as Vite, webpack, or Rollup.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating with Amazon Bedrock, foundation-model APIs, or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems backed by vector stores such as OpenSearch Serverless.
• Familiarity with AWS Lambda@Edge, AWS WAF, and the CloudFront request lifecycle.
• Background in security engineering, including threat modeling, STRIDE analysis, and prompt-injection defenses for AI systems.
