Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and deploy highly available web services and applications for financial event processing.
• Apply expertise in performance, scalability, enterprise system architecture, and engineering best practices to build robust solutions.
• Research, propose, and implement AI/ML solutions to enhance automation, accuracy, and efficiency within financial event processing systems.
• Decompose complex financial and technical problems into simple, straightforward, and elegant software solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Amazon on the design and development of core platform functionality.
• Translate functional requirements from business teams and project managers into detailed technical specifications and implementation plans.
• Partner with fellow engineers to define technical tasks and create comprehensive implementation strategies for accounting systems.
• Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment where time-to-market is critical, balancing technical leadership with business judgment.
• Write and review code, create essential documentation, and respond to operational issues within the team's financial systems.
• Build configuration-driven, self-service platforms that enable rapid business launches and real-time financial data processing
