Description

You will design and build distributed systems and optimization algorithms for Amazon's global logistics and transportation network.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement complex algorithms, workflows, and machine learning systems to optimize transportation logistics.
• Build and improve distributed services handling millions of packages within the fulfillment network.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to solve large-scale problems in worldwide transportation systems.
• Design system architectures that enhance global customer experience and operational efficiency.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on distributed systems and system design.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Python.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Deep understanding of algorithms, optimization techniques, and workflow design.
• Experience applying machine learning to solve engineering problems.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
