Description

You will define and implement technical strategy for a high-growth service within Amazon Music, focusing on building personalized, large-scale music experiences.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering to map technical roadmaps for the Free tier across all music clients.
• Build full-stack projects impacting the end-to-end charter of the Free tier.
• Design and implement solutions that support distributed systems across music apps, web players, and voice platforms.
• Deliver new features and products with an attention to detail that enhances customer experience.

Required Skills

• 4 years of professional software development experience.
• 3 years of programming experience in Java, C, or C# utilizing object-oriented design.
• 2 years of experience contributing to system architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
• Demonstrable track record of delivering new features and products.
• Practical experience building large-scale distributed systems.
• Sound understanding of Computer Science fundamentals.
• Experience with Design Patterns.
• Experience in iterative, agile development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience with Machine Learning and Natural Language Understanding.
• Excellence in technical communication with technical and non-technical groups.
