Description

You will develop electrical test equipment and programming for robotic system acceptance testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical test equipment and programming for robotic systems and subsystems.
• Document test procedures, specifications, and acceptance criteria for new and existing products.
• Write scripts to automate manual computer tasks.
• Propose design changes to improve product manufacturability and testability.
• Evaluate and approve product electrical Engineering Changes Orders (ECOs).

Required Skills

• 5+ years of related work experience.
• Bachelor degree in electrical, computer, or robotics engineering or equivalent.
• Functional knowledge of one or more high-level programming languages.
• Experience with programmable equipment and device under test control using standard software tools.
• Experience designing or specifying electrical test interfaces for electrical sub-assemblies.
• Proficiency with LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, or Linux shell scripts.
• Experience with OpenSSH for remote computer operations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience testing and calibrating cameras.
• Experience with in-circuit-test (ICT) development with external vendors.
• Experience with bench-top electrical debug tools and electrical design of test circuitry.
