Description

You will design, implement, and independently develop complex application solutions while leading development teams and defining technical standards.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Propose, conceptualize, and design solutions for difficult application challenges.
• Oversee testing, debugging, change control, and documentation for major projects.
• Lead projects and supervise professional staff across all development phases.
• Define programming standards and engage in long-term strategic planning.
• Troubleshoot complex technical problems and optimize system performance.

Required Skills

• Eight years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience.
• Strong understanding of data design, architecture, relational databases, and data modeling.
• Proven experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying applications.
• Thorough knowledge of the software development life cycle and quality control practices.
• Ability to define and solve logical problems for highly technical applications.
• Experience leading activities on structured team development projects.
• Ability to select and adapt various programming methods and tools.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a quantitative field.
