Required Skills & Experience

• 15+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
• 10+ years of SQL database development and programming experience.
• 8+ years supporting and developing large-scale enterprise applications in a team environment.
• 5+ years of Linux experience.
• Strong expertise in application debugging, performance tuning, and production support.
• Experience creating technical documentation and implementation plans.
• Ability to lead development efforts and coordinate multiple projects.

Preferred Skills

• 8+ years of experience with Atlassian tools, particularly JIRA.
• 8+ years working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Experience supporting State of Texas applications or the Texas Department of Public Safety.
• Experience migrating legacy mainframe applications to Java/SQL environments
