Description

You will own the full software application lifecycle, from requirements and design through development, testing, and maintenance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage the SDLC from requirements gathering and analysis to design, coding, deployment, and maintenance.
• Define application scope, objectives, and technical specifications while reviewing code and complex system components.
• Develop custom controllers and write scheduled batch jobs for daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly cycles.
• Coordinate system testing, fix identified defects, and re-execute unit tests to validate results.
• Mentor team members on coding standards and evaluate possible system enhancements.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of progressive post-degree experience (or 3 years with a Master's in STEM).
• Proficiency in SQL for database interactions and data management.
• Strong working knowledge of Git for version control.
• Experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Proven experience managing the full software development life cycle.
• Ability to work effectively in both large and small team environments.
• Experience writing and scheduling batch jobs.

Preferred Skills

• Experience defining technical specifications and application scope.
• Ability to mentor junior developers on coding standards.
