Description

You will build modular services and REST endpoints to support core system functionality and UI integration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new backend services while maintaining existing IEI functionality.
• Manage and maintain the PostgreSQL database schema.
• Conduct pull-request based code reviews for your own work and peers.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for backend services and procedures.
• Participate in technical exchange meetings with functional teams and stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience with Java (Java 8 or newer preferred).
• Proficiency in SQL, specifically PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Linux environments.
• Experience with RESTful services and message-driven beans.
• Experience with CDI and Java Enterprise development, preferably JBOSS/Wildfly.
• Proficiency in Git and collaboration tools like Bitbucket or GitLab.
• Experience with Java build tools such as Maven.
• Experience writing unit tests using JUnit and Mockito.
• Experience with CI software like Jenkins.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with C++, Python, or scripting languages like Bash and Groovy.
• Experience with debugging, including the NetBeans debugger.
