Description

You will develop and maintain automation systems and control software for biopharmaceutical environments.

Responsibilities

• Program and develop logic using CODESYS and Wonderware/Aveva SCADA & PLC systems.
• Implement communication protocols and data exchanges, specifically using OPC UA.
• Execute build processes, unit testing, and functional testing to ensure system reliability.
• Manage deployment scripts and operations within a DevOps framework.
• Apply software development best practices including code standards, code reviews, and source control management.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as an automation engineer.
• Hands-on experience with CODESYS programming.
• Proficiency in Wonderware/Aveva SCADA & PLC development.
• Deep understanding of communication protocols and OPC UA data exchange.
• Experience with source control management and build processes.
• Knowledge of unit and functional testing methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• User Interface design using OMI, HMI, or web APIs.
• Experience with Wago automatons and DevOps tools like Jenkins or Ansible.
• Background in validation, quality, or design processes.
