Description

You will build and scale a next-generation data analytics platform using big data technologies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and improve data platform services and scalable systems.
• Implement large-scale, high-throughput solutions using on-premise and cloud technologies.
• Diagnose and debug complex issues across development, staging, and production environments.
• Collaborate with product managers, software developers, and analysts to solve technical problems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong programming skills in Scala and Java.
• Proficiency in shell scripting.
• Experience with real-time processing technologies such as Spark, Storm, or Flink.
• Hands-on experience with Hadoop and Hive.
• Knowledge of cloud big data services and technologies.
• Understanding of lambda architecture and data-warehousing concepts.
• Experience with Kafka, AWS Lambda, Terraform, and Kubernetes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience with Couchbase and/or MemSQL.
