Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable big data solutions using the Hadoop ecosystem. You own the full lifecycle from translating requirements into detailed designs to deploying and supporting production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, install, configure, and support Hadoop environments.
• Translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed system designs.
• Analyze vast data stores to uncover insights while maintaining data privacy standards.
• Create scalable web services for data tracking and high-speed querying.
• Manage and deploy HBase, testing prototypes for operational handover.

Required Skills

• Core Java development expertise.
• Hadoop development and implementation experience.
• Experience with Hive and Pig.
• HBase management and deployment.
• Proven ability to design and support Hadoop architectures.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related IT field with 3+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with 1+ year.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with 5+ years of working experience in big data technologies.
