Description

Develop and maintain Calypso v14.4 packages using Java to support financial trading and settlement workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop internal components and customize Calypso modules including Engines, Events, Filters, and Reporting Framework.
• Manage the monthly release strategy, covering analysis, coding, testing, and production support.
• Provide Level 3 application support to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Analyze enhancement requests and bug fixes while documenting all software deliveries.
• Coach junior team members and drive continuous process improvements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Calypso developer with extensive experience in versions higher than v13.
• Expertise in Java, PL/SQL, and Linux environments.
• Hands-on customization of Calypso modules: Custom Remote Services, ScheduledTask, Message/Swift, Transfers, and Workflows.
• In-depth knowledge of Confirmation, Settlement, Position, and Accounting modules.
• Understanding of financial assets such as repos, bonds, SLB, and issuances, including the trade lifecycle.
• Experience with regulatory reporting (HRF, NORIA, MMSR) and interfacing Calypso with external systems.
• Proficiency with Oracle and Sybase databases.
• Experience in implementation projects and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing microservices and implementing NR scenarios.
