Description

You will perform firmware and system-level testing for IoT devices, focusing on analog and digital circuit troubleshooting and product development support.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute verification and validation test plans to meet product requirements.
• Design and build automated test systems, test fixtures, and testing procedures for production.
• Identify and document defects in Jira, including logs, snapshots, and video evidence.
• Collaborate with electrical, firmware, and mechanical engineering teams to report technical risks and test progress.
• Participate in weekly syncs to provide QA input and track development issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in firmware testing.
• Proficiency with Python for automation.
• Hands-on experience using Putty and Teraterm.
• Knowledge of network protocol analyzers and flashing embedded devices.
• Understanding of Zigbee protocols and power/electrical parameters.
• Experience with Jira, Jama, and Visio.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Silicon Labs Zigbee IoT devices.
