Software Developer

Architect and maintain scalable cloud environments and database systems.

Responsibilities

• Architect and commission public cloud environments using AWS, GCP, and OCI, including customized VPCs, subnets, and security groups.
• Migrate on-premises applications and databases to the cloud using DMS, Data Sync, Snowball, and Cloud Endure.
• Provision and manage MySQL database environments, handling data modeling, sharding, capacity planning, and disaster recovery.
• Configure MySQL NDB clusters for high availability and implement security features like TDE and Enterprise Firewall.
• Optimize database performance through indexing, table restructuring, and tuning.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of relevant experience in cloud infrastructure and database management.
• Deep expertise in AWS, GCP, and OCI.
• Hands-on experience with RDS, Aurora, Document DB, and Dynamo DB.
• Advanced knowledge of MySQL NDB cluster configurations.
• Experience with cloud compute (EC2), storage (EBS, EFS, S3), and IAM/KMS security.
• Proficiency in CloudWatch, CloudFormation, CloudTrail, and AWS Config.
• Experience migrating on-prem NAS mount points via NetApp Cloud Volumes ONTAP.
• Ability to manage bare metal server installations for MySQL services.

Preferred Skills

• Implement backup strategies using MySQL Dump, Percona Xtra Backup, and MySQL Enterprise Backup.
