Description

You will drive the transition of monolithic applications to a microservices-based architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Convert monolith applications and databases into microservices and separate database instances.
  • Migrate software components from Virtual Server Infrastructure (VSI) to the Gaia Kubernetes platform (GKP).
  • Design and implement workflows based on functional specification documents from system engineers.
  • Develop API, Business, and DAO layers while integrating client-side MVC with server technologies.
  • Refactor existing code and update open-source dependencies to maintain functionality.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of software development experience.
  • Proven experience with microservices architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with GKP (Gaia Kubernetes platform).
  • Proficiency in HTML and MVC patterns.
  • Experience with Angular for component and service development.
  • Ability to perform large-scale code refactoring and dependency management.

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
